Saddle Fitting Service

The importance of a well fitted saddle is often under estimated. The majority of back problems are caused by badly fitting saddles, which can result in pain or discomfort for your horse, which can lead to behavioural problems and lameness.

We provide a Saddle Fitting service, whether it is for a new or second hand saddle you are purchasing from us, or advice on the fit of your existing saddle. This service can take up to an hour, there are many aspects to take into consideration when fitting a saddle. For example, the condition of your horse, the discipline you are involved in, the age and breed of your horse etc.

If you are unable to purchase a new saddle we can accommodate your financial needs. We sell second hand saddles and can offer a part exchange facility.

Saddle Fitting visit is charged at £30.

Flocking service

We offer a flocking service which requires us to take a template of your horse which is taken at the initial visit, the saddle is taken and re-flocked and re-fitted at the second visit with the rider.

For either of the above services you can bring your horse to us where we will carry out an assessment or we can come to you, where you will be in your own environment. We travel throughout Devon and Somerset and will be happy to bring with us, all of your equestrian needs.
